My name is Yasmin Pilgrim. I am an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and am the founder of  Empowher Women’s Health. 

I hold a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS), and am a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG).

When I created Empowher I was determined to be able to offer patients a place where they can reliably access a team that will honestly nurture, advocate and care for them in every way possible. I have had the privilege of caring for women through many stages of life - from first periods to post menopause, from early pregnancy to delivery and beyond. No two pregnancies are the same, and neither are the women experiencing them.

That’s why I take a deeply personal approach to care, making time to understand not just your medical needs but your individual story, concerns and goals. Whether you are seeking help with a complex gynaecological issue, preparing for pregnancy or navigating the path to birth, my role is to offer evidence based compassionate support in a space where you feel completely safe, respected and empowered. 

Alongside dedicated midwifery care, I offer a holistic and collaborative approach. Blending medical expertise with warmth and trust. Above all, my vision at Empowher is to provide all my patients with a care plan that they understand, are happy with and which has the flexibility to continuously address their unique set of needs.
